After a little bit of a learning curve I was able to achieve the results I wanted. I did find I have to use both hands to get a stronger “clamp”/tension when pulling my hair through. Not sure how this would work on shorter hair.

I have used the Curl Definer in my daily styling routine, and it has worked wonderfully. That being said, after a few weeks of use, the springs that hold the definer in the closed position seem to have worn out and it doesn’t stay in the closed position. It makes getting the definer in position and holding the definer closed (requiring the use of both hands) while trying to simultaneously hold up that section of hair I’m attempting to style. If I can manage all of that, the end result is great but it's a little frustrating it's wearing out so quickly.

Used as described on my curly/wavy hair - my hair has some sections that are high wavy and some sections that are coil curly so I was hoping this would help define, but I found that end ended up making my hair more frizzy - My denman brush does a better job of defining my curls.
